Responsible For
  • Conduct fault finding on grinding mills (Ball/SAG) to identify mechanical, and operational issues
  • Perform and oversee maintenance tasks, including, not limited to
  • Gear changes
  • Pinion changes
  • Shell replacements
  • Head replacement
  • Drive train component replacement
  • Bearing Changes – White/Bronze/Roller
  • Able to Align Girth Gear
  • Supervise and execute mill installations
  • Assist engineers with planning, scheduling, and coordination of mill installations and maintenance activities
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to specifications, with detailed reporting on work performed
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, offering solutions
  • Ensure on-time execution of installation and maintenance projects
  • Apply experience and technical knowledge to achieve mill performance and extend lifespan
  • Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and progress updates
  • Support training and mentoring of junior technicians
Additional Requirements
  • Proven experience - MUST
  • Strong knowledge of installation, alignment, and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to lead and supervise projects
  • Problem-solving mindset with excellent technical communication skills
