ABOUT YOU:
  • You are a proactive and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have experience serving as Scrum Master for teams that handle systems maintenance, bug fixes, and production support.
  • You can manage competing priorities in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, ensuring a balance between planned and unplanned work.
Your experience, qualifications, and skills:
  • Approximately 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master with at least 2 years of experience in a support or service management environment.
  • Strong understanding of Kanban and Agile Service Delivery.
  • Proficiency working with agile tools such as JIRA Service Management, Azure DevOps or similar.
  • Proficiency working with reporting tools and dashboards for measuring sprint efficiency and support performance.
Responsible For
ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • The role requires a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead and manage Agile practices within our Support Team.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring that support-related sprints run efficiently, balancing planned maintenance, incident resolution, and operational enhancements while responding to urgent business needs.
  • The Scrum Master will work closely with the Operations Manager and the Development Team to drive continuous improvement and service excellence.
The Scrum Master:
  • Facilitates and manages Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and Change Control process
  • Works with the Operations Manager to prioritize and align sprint deliverables with the broader support strategy.
  • Ensures that unplanned, urgent issues are handled effectively while maintaining sprint commitments.
  • Monitors and optimizes the flow of work, using Kanban and Scrum principles to adapt to the dynamic nature of support.
  • Identifies and removes impediments that affect team efficiency and service delivery.
  • Tracks key support KPIs such as ticket resolution time, sprint completion rate, and unplanned work ratio.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that feedback from retrospectives translates into actionable changes.
  • Maintains clear and transparent communication with stakeholders regarding sprint progress and key support metrics.
  • Applies Agile best practices tailored for a support-driven environment
